Yolande of Anjou
Yolande of Anjou , born with Nancy the November 2nd 1428, died in Nancy the March 23rd 1483, duchess of Lorraine (1473) and of Bar (1480), girl of Rene Ier of Anjou, king de Naples, duke of Anjou, of Bar and Lorraine, count de Provence, and of Isabelle, duchess of Lorraine.
She married in Nancy in 1445 her cousin Ferry II of Lorraine (1420 † 1470), count de Vaudémont. This marriage put an end to the litigation which existed between the fathers of the two husbands, in connection with the succession of the duchy of Lorraine. They had:
- * Rene II (1451 † 1508), duke of Lorraine
- * Nicolas, lord of Joinville and Bauffremont, died towards 1476
- * Pierre, died in 1451
- * Jeanne (1458 † 1480), married in 1474 with Charles IV (1436 † 1481), duke of Anjou
- * Yolande, died in 1500, married in 1497 with Guillaume II, landgrave of Hesse († 1509)
- * Marguerite (1463 † 1521), married in 1488 with Rene (1454 † 1492), duke of Alençon
- * Nicolas, lord of Joinville and Bauffremont, died towards 1476
In 1473, with died its nephew Nicolas, she inherits the duchy of Lorraine and immediately transmits it to his/her son Rene II. It made in the same way in 1480, with died of her father, with the duchy of Bar.
