Yoji Shinkawa

Yoji Shinkawa is a Illustrateur Japan board born the December 25th 1971 with Hiroshima. Director artistic at Konami DIGITAL Entertainment, it is famous for its work of Character designer and of Mecha designer on the series of video games Metal GEAR and Zone off the Enders.

Biography

Yoji Shinkawa enters to Konami in 1994 and integrates the team of Hideo Kojima. He works initially on the play Policenauts, like Débogueur on the version NEC PC9821 then as graphic designer on the versions 3DO and PlayStation. In 1998, he is the illustrator as a chief of Metal GEAR Solid and keeps this role on all the following opus: Sounds off Liberty, Snake Eater and Guns off Patriots. It gives form to appreciated charismatic figures - the dark hero (Solid Snake), malicious pitiless (Revolver Ocelot) the or imperceptible one (the ninja), the ultimate weapon (the Metal GEAR), the femme fatale (Eva), etc - and becomes very popular in the community of players.
