The yiyou , or yi-yeou (Chinese traditional and simplified: zh-Hant 乙酉; Pinyin: yǐyǒu ) is the twenty-second element of the sexagesimal Cycle Chinese. It is preceded by the Jiashen and is followed by the Bingxu .

With the celestial Tige yi is associated the Yin and the element Bois, and with the terrestrial Branche you , the Yin, the element Métal, and the sign of the cock. In the symbolic system of the five elements, the yiyou thus corresponds to the “metal which destroys wood. ”

Years of the yiyou
