Yesterday is a Chanson Beatles written by Paul McCartney - though signed Lennon/McCartney - and published the August 6th 1965 on their album Help! , like in 45 turns a little everywhere in the world, except in England.

According to the Guinness Book , Yesterday is, of all the songs ever written, that having the most different versions. It named initially it Scrambled Eggs (scrambled eggs) and played it all its entourage, in particular during the turning of the film Help! in order to make sure that this melody was well of him. The realizer Richard Lester explains as follows: “We passed nearly four weeks in studio for the turning of Help! , there was a piano in the studio and Paul played unceasingly this Scrambled Eggs . Paul McCartney made even more: “For one month, I made the turn of the professionals of the disc to know if they had heard it front. I finished by me saying that it was a found object. If nobody claimed it, then it was with me! ”.

Yesterday is the first recording of Beatles which was created officially by only one member. Text of song was finally become Ballade on love lost - what it would have become if the words had been as at the beginning, “ Scrambled eggs, oh you' ve got such lovely legacy /scrambled eggs, oh you have of so beautiful legs”.
