Yehoud
Yehoud is the name which takes the kingdom of Juda after its fall and the deportation, by Nabuchodonosor, of part of the inhabitants in Babylon (- 587). After the victory of Cyrus II (- 538), which allows the return of exiled, Yehoud - the Judaea - becomes a province of the Persian Empire and its inhabitants from now on are called Yehoudim - the Juif S.
