Changelin: the Dream is a contemporary-fantastic Roleplay located in the Monde of Darkness and is published by White Wolf Publishing. It was published in French by Hexagonal. There were two english language versions of which only first is translated into French.

The players are invited to incarnate Changelin S, fantastic creatures (mythology)|[dream] S, semi-human mid- fairy-like fights about it against an impalpable enemy: The Banality. Well beyond the concepts of the other plays from White Wolf Publishing, this Roleplay is a strange key in Le Monde of darkness. If one finds there indeed an environment rather desperate, difficult topics such as the Amour, the fight of the individual against the mass or the Rêve are approached.

These complex topics are undoubtedly at the origin of the stop of the publications, the range having unfortunately met a weak success, in particular in the French-speaking public where only two works were translated by Ludis.

The range in it even relatively rich and is worked, offering even an Eastern version of the play ( Land off Eight Million Dreams ). A particular type campaign was also published under the name of “Immortals Eyes”. This countryside is more one decoration of play accompanied by Romance giving a possible screen. It is the only countryside which was published for this play.

A series of English supplements describes the war of Concordia, which changes the universe within the framework of the general Apocalypse of the plays of the World of Darkness. The third version of Changelin, resulting from these changes, must be published at the beginning of 2007.

the changelin is a fairy-like being which lives a mortal human body, fights about it against an impalpable enemy: The Banality. He is permanently halfway between the dream and reality.

Their world of origin, Arcadia, is a fantastic universe always in change, which is built starting from the dreams and of the nightmares of the mortals.

New edition

After two American editions and a Frenchwoman, Changelin was given to the standard of the Monde of Darkness 2 under the title Changeling: The Lost (the Stray ones), appeared in April 2007.

Card decks

A card deck to be collected also exists, Arcadia, and proposes to incarnate changelins in their world of origin.
