- Jewish community attested with London towards 1610 - 1620.
- Jewish community with Amsterdam (towards 1604 -1610). It is composed of Juifs Portuguese which has as a rabbi the Ashkénaze Mossé Uri ha-Levi, come from Emden, undoubtedly originating in the Rhineland. It meets to request in the private house Tirado Jacob and takes the name of “Beit-Jacob”. Its chief is a Jew of the Morocco, Samuel Palache, which is ambassador of Morocco in the Netherlands. He supports the installation in Amsterdam of many “Portuguese” come from the Iberian peninsula, of Madeira, the the Azores, the Colonies of Morocco and Antwerp. Six to eight thousand Jews populate the city quickly, where two other communities organize themselves, “ Neveh Shalom ” with Isaac Uziel, of Fes, and “ Beit Jisraël ” with Joseph Pardo, of Salonique, come with Venice in 1589 then in Amsterdam in 1608. In 1639, these three groups meet in only one congregation, influenced by that of Venice, the “ Sainte the Community of the teaching of the Torah ”, Kahal Kadish Talmud Torah (K.K.T.T.). In parallel a community of the ashkénazes, fewer organizes itself but holding with its originality (different rites and languages).

France

- 200 000 noble to the maximum controls a quarter or a fifth of the French soil (another quarter for the clergy and the middle-class, half with the farming community).
- 25 000 officers approximately in France. The purchases of offices account for 7,4% of the receipt of the Saving between 1600 and 1610. The nominal price of the loads has more than triplet since 1595.
- Augmentation of the ground rent (tenant farming) in Languedoc under Louis XIII and at the beginning of the reign of Louis XIV (the tax on land in the southernmost areas touches mainly the owners, which reflect the rise of it on the tenant farming).
Italy
Decline of the marketing activity and industrial in Italy, started as of 1570: crises of the bank and the credit (due to the financial problems of the Spanish and French states), bad harvests of the last decade of the 16th century, increase in banditism which shorts-circuit the exchanges. The oppressive taxation of Spain (Milanese, Naples), the increase in labor after the plagues, the contraction of commercial space (fold of Spain and of Raising, War Thirty Year old to Germany and in the Netherlands), French competition (silk trade) and anglo-Dutchwoman (cloths), worsen the situation. The aristocracy prefers to invest in the land one with the detriment of the trade (Venice, Tuscany). The movement of industrial involution continues with the length of the 18th century.
