Events
- Reigns of Iblul it, king of Husband and Arennum, king of Ebla (between -2460 and -2400).

- Reign of Eannatum, king of Lagash (- 2455-2425)
- Eannatum overcomes the town of Umma following a frontier conflict (Girsu). The final success of Lagash seems to give him a great power: Eannatoum must face several coalitions of the Élam and its allies of Transtigrine, of Ur, Uruk, Akshak, Kish and Mari. It drives out Élamites of Sumer, plunders or shaves the towns of their allies, overcomes Mari, takes Ur and Uruk, tears off Kish with Zuzu, king of Akshak.
- Stele of the Vultures, which celebrates the victory of Eannatum de Lagash over Umma. First historical mention of the Élam.
