Events

  • In ventôse/germinal (March), Peace of Amiens: end of the second coalition (the United Kingdom, Russia, Turkey). The Peace of Amiens temporarily stops the war against France.
  • 4 germinal (March 25th 1802): The Treated of Amiens between the France and the the United Kingdom puts an end to the second coalition.
  • 18 germinal (April 8th 1802): Promulgation of the Legal settlement signed by Napoleon Bonaparte, First Consul, and the Pope Black and white VII.
  • 6 floréal (April 26th): Amnesties Émigrés.
  • 11 floréal (May 1st): Creation by Napoleon Bonaparte of the military special school of Saint-Cyr military school intended for the teaching of arts of the war.
  • 29 floréal (May 19th): Napoleon Bonaparte creates the Légion of honor.
  • 30 floréal (May 20th): The Esclavage is restored in the colonies.
  • Thermidor 14 (August 2nd): Following a Plebiscite, Napoleon Bonaparte becomes Consul with life. (3 million yes, 1600 not).
  • Thermidor 16 (August 4th): Proclamation of the Constitution of Year X.
  • 24 fructidor (September 11th 1802): The Piedmont is attached to the France.
  • Beginning of the Italian Republic of French obedience (end in the Year XII (1804)).
  • Fondation of the Rhone-native République formed by the Were worth member then Swiss République. The Rhone-native Republic will disappear in 1810 by its annexation with the French Empire.
