Yavanna

Yavanna (or Kementari) is a character of the universe described by Tolkien. It is the Valie dealing with “all the things which push”. She married Aulë the Blacksmith and is sister with Vána. She is at the origin of the creation of the race of the Ent S.

" Some saw it like a tree drawn up towards the sky, crowned by the sun, its branches poured a gold dew on the unproductive land covered at once by grass corn. The roots of the tree plunged in water of Ulmo and the winds of Manwë murmured in its branches." , in Silmarillion Portrait: Yavanna is the second of the queens of the Valar, coming after Varda. It is the older sister of Vana and marries it of Aulë of which suzerainty " extends on all the substances whose Arda is composée" . It is counted pami the Aratar (" Exaltés " ), i.e. eight Valar most powerful. It is called " Dispenser of the fruits" because it is occupied and reigned on " all the things which push in the terre" . It " embrace in its spirit their innumerable forms, since the high trees like turns in the forests of formerly to foam on a stone or with the secret beings which populate Terre." It is at the origin of the race of the Ents and at the Eldar (the Elfes), " it is called Kementari, the Queen of Terre."
