Yasumasa Morimura () is a Japanese contemporary artist. He was born with Ōsaka in 1951.

He lives and works in Ōsaka. He exposes since 1980 and specialized in the diversion of paintings or photographs in substituent his face, however disgracieux, with that of famous female subjects. Its most recent project is a series “of actresses” where he disguises himself and grime to imitate known actresses, like Marilyn Monroe

Yasumasa Morimura was finalist of the first Prix Hugo Boss in 1996.
