Yasmina Khadra
Yasmina Khadra , of its true name Mohammed Moulessehoul , is a Algerian writer born in 1955 in the the Algerian Sahara.
Officer in the Algerian armed , Moulessehoul adopted a female pseudonym to escape the military censure. In spite of the success of number of its Romance in Algeria, Moulessehoul revealed its identity only in 2001, after having left the army and to be themselves exiled in France. Anonymity was the only means for him of surviving and of escaping the Censure during the decade from terrorism in Algeria. It resides with its family at Aix-en-Provence.
The novel which revealed it in 1997, Morituri was adapted to the cinema in 2007. The film, coproduction French and Algerian, realized by Okacha Touita left on April 25th, 2007 (France).
