Yaron Pesztat

Yaron Pesztat (Born with Kfar Sheba in Israel the January 5th 1961) is a Politician Belgian bachelor as a graduate philosopher of the Universit3e libre de Bruxelles.

It occupies a function of Député of Brussels under the banner Ecolo.

Biography

Born in Israel in 1961, married, father of a teenager, inhabitant with Ixelles. It obtains a license and an aggregation of philosophy to ULB, Yaron Pesztat begins its professional life as professor of morals and philosophy, which it gives up for lack of vocation to devote itself to Inter-Environment Brussels, a Asbl which federates district committees and committees of inhabitants. It works there during 10 years and in 1994 about it will become the General secretary. In 1999, it decides to continue these engagements on the political field and is presented to the elections on the list ECOLOGIST. It sits at the Parliament of Brussels since then. It is invested there obviously in its fields of predilection - Urbansime, Environnement, Mobilité - but it does not remain about it there. He will also work on the problems of economic development and of employment while highlighting, thanks to a study which he makes make with the ULB, the sectors of economic activities most carrying for Brussels It is also interested in the problems housing and it will take part, like chair Commission of housing, the debate is regarded as fundamental and contributes to an awakening by the political community of the existence of a true housing shortage in Brussels.

Since 2004, Yaron Pesztat is Chef of the Ecolo group.
