Yaren
Yaren , formerly Jarren , Makwa or Made fun , is one of the fourteen districts and one of the eight electoral constituencies of Nauru. Nauru not having neither Capital official nor subdivision corresponding to the communes, Yaren is indicated de facto as capital official because the district shelters the Parlement.

Geography
Yaren is in the South-west of the island of Nauru. It is bordered by the Pacific Ocean in the south and the districts of Meneng in the east, Buada in north and Boe in the North-West.Its average Altitude is of 25 meters (minimal: 0 meter, maximum: 46 meters) and its Superficie is of 1,5 km (fifth rank on fourteen).
The Puits Made fun, small a underground Lac, is beside the air terminal, the foot of the central plate of the island.
Infrastructures
Yaren shelters on its territory the south of the landing strip of the International airport of Nauru like its air terminal, the Parlement of the Republic, the offices of the administration of the Gouvernement, the police station of police force and the satellite station of telecommunication.
Population
If one excludes the Vatican City, Yaren is the least populated capital of independent State planet with 1 100 inhabitants (fourth rank on fourteen).The Population density is of 733,3 hab/km.
The zone corresponding to the district was made up of seven villages : Anigobwi, Atomo, Ibwenape, Kibepe, Die, Yaren and Yongin.
