Yannis Gouras
Yannis Gouras (1791 - 1826) was a hero of the Guerre of Greek independence
He was a Klephte, lieutenant of Odysséas Androútsos. It defended under its order the citadel of Athens in 1822. It was that which betrays its chief by stopping it in 1825.
It was very close to the general Yánnis Makriyánnis.
He perishes during the head office of Athens by the Othoman troops.
