Yamato-e

Yamato-e () is a style of painting Japan board inspired by Buddhism Zen and which develops at the end of the Period Heian. One regards it as the traditional Japanese style, in opposition to the more modern style of the Ukiyo-e.
Yamato-e had a great influence on the school Rimpa () and the Ukiyo-e style (), like on the Nihonga ()
