Yamanashi
Yamanashi (山梨市, Yamanashi-shi ) is a city (市, shi ) of the Préfecture of Yamanashi, with the Japan. It should be noted that Yamanashi is not the capital of the Préfecture of Yamanashi. The city was founded July 1954. The borough of Makioka and the village of Mitomi (District of Higashiyamanashi) were integrated into Yamanashi on March 22nd 2005. Population of the east city of 39.631 inhabitants for a surface of 289.87 km ² (2005).
The agricultural productions of the city are the grape and fishing (fruit).
Yamanashi is served by the trunk roads 140 and 411.
The municipal symbols are the pine and the rhododendron.
