MT-01 is a model of Motocyclette of the manufacturer Japan board Yamaha.

Revealed in 1999 with the living room of Tokyo to leave in 2005 at the price 13.250 €, this model of the type roadster of strong cubic capacity (twin-cylinder of 1  600  cm ³ for 90  horses) posts an important couple on all the levels of mode moteur : around 12 mkg with 1  500  tr/min, nearly 15 with 2  300  tr/min with a maximum of 15,3  mkg reaches with 3  750  tr/min. To commemorate the 50 years of the firm, Yamaha presents a at the end of 2005 special series Limited Edition 50th Anniversary, sold for 750 € of plus.
It is available in two colors:

• blue, taking again graphics of the R1  et  R6.
• yellow, taking again decoration with black band of YZR of the years 80.
  

In May 2007, Yamaha markets another special series, inspired of prototype MT-OS and by taking again the name. To the initial version, she adds a careenage Tête of fork supporting the Rétroviseur S, a cap of tank, trigger guards of Guidon rocking the position of control on before and of the ends of handlebar in Aluminum. Based on a model 2006, it is sold less expensive than the standard version, is 12  490  €.

The version 2008 gains clamps of front brake with six pistons.
