Yama (réfrènements)
Yama (यम in Devanāgarī) this term Sanskrit means self-control, moral duty, rule, observance; austerity, refrènement | phil. self-control, first stage of yoga.
The verb Sanskrit " yam" mean " to hold in hand, to contain, support, carry réfréner, control, put in order
First anga of the Yoga Sutras they are five observances morals to be practiced:

Ahimsa : the Not violence, benevolence,
- Satyam: the Veracity, sincerity,
- Asteya: the Honesty, probity,
- Aparigraha: the Detachment of the goods or satisfaction, the absence of covetousness,
- Brahmacharya: Moderation in the desires.
