This name is composed of two Kanjis:-
夜 ( Yoru ), which means the evening or the night

The first name, it, are composed of only one Kanji:-

History
It is, at the commencement of the series, high-school pupil a 17 year old, extremely shining though enough cold. It is an idealist, and when it finds by ground a Death Note , it decides to make use of it to remove the world from its worst criminals.
