Yachimata

Yachimata (八街市, Yachimata-shi ) is a city (市, shi ) of the Préfecture of Chiba, with the Japan. The city was founded April 1992. Population of the east city of 77.708 inhabitants for a surface of 74.87 km ² (2006).

Yachimata is served by the trunk roads 126 and 409.

The city produces groundnut.
