Yaakov Tzur
Yaakov Tzur ( יעקבצור ), of its true name Steinberg ( שטיינברג ) is an Israeli politician.
Private life
Yaakov Tzur is born with Haïfa on April 4th 1937.
He studies in Haïfa, then starts an university course with the Hebraic Université of Jerusalem in the field of the Biblical story of Israel.
Parliamentary life
Tzur is elected appointed with the 10th Knesset, of June 30th 1981 at July 23rd 1984, where he is member of the committee for the foreign affairs and that for education, the culture and the sport.
Again elected in 11th Knesset of July 23rd, 1984 to the 1e November 1988, then with 12th of the 1e November 1988 at June 23rd 1992.
Governmental life
During 11th Knesset, it is named Minister for immigration and integration (21e and 22e government).
During 12th Knesset, and this until March 15th 1990, Tzur fulfills the functions of Minister for health (23e government).
During 13th Knesset, he is Minister for agriculture and the urban development (25e and 26e government).
Public life
- Teacher at the schools of Guivat-Brener and Kfar-Ménahem;
- 1972 - 1974: teaching person in charge of TAKAM;
- 1976 -1981 : director of the TAKAM.
