Born with Hino, Tokyo (Japan) the December 12th 1967 of a father artist and a mother professor of Piano, it follows as of its three years a formation of piano and also then of Violon and Violoncelle. As of the 8 years age, it takes courses of piano with the mother of a friend of the famous type-setter Joe Hisaishi, who will remain for him source of admiration.
In 1985, whereas it at the base would have wished to be a programmer, it answers an advertisement and is engaged by Falcom, as type-setter. Assisted by Kawashima, Hitoshi Ariga, Mieko Ishikawa and Hideya Nagata, it carries out the soundtracks of Xanadu Scenario II , Dragon Slayer IV , Sorcerian , Ys II and Romancia .
It leaves then Falcom and assembles in 1990 (with his/her mother) its own company of video game, Ancient Corp., for which it will compose in particular the musics of the Legend of Thor on MegaDrive.
Although already famous type-setter (it is one of only whose name is regularly on the page of presentation of the plays on which it works, right under the title), it obtains the dedication in 1999 with the original soundtrack of Shenmue on Dreamcast, realized in collaboration with other type-setters.
He is also very known for his compositions of style Techno on the trilogy Streets off Rage on MegaDrive, which belong to the musics most appreciated in the world of the video game, without off forgetting its work on The Revenge Shinobi , also on MegaDrive.
