Yūshō
A yūshō indicates the profit of a tournament of Sumo in one of 6 divisions which comprises the professional sumo. At the time of each Honbasho , the fighter who has the most victories in his division at the end of the tournament is declared victorious. In the event of equality of victory, a kettei-SEN (combat (S) additional (S)) is organized between the fighters ex-aequo. There are thus six winners of yūshō by tournament, one in Makuuchi, one in Jūryō , one in Makushita , one in Sandanme , one in Jonidan and one in Jonokuchi.
