Yōichi Kotabe

Yōichi Kotabe (小田部羊一 Kotabe Yōichi ) is a stimulating Mangaka and Japanese.

Biography

It began its career with Horus, prince of the Sun, Isao Takahata, where it met in particular Hayao Miyazaki. With its dires, charged to represent the sea in this project, it will create there a representation of the water which will be generally used in the majority of the Manga eiga which will follow Horus.

They formed all three an independent studio where it créerent Panda KB Panda, then separated after a few series.

Yōichi Kotabe, also worked out the character of Heidi in the series carried out by Isao Takahata according to the novel of the same name. Certain rumors say that the term Character design (stylistic creation of character) was invented by Hayao Miyazaki to describe its work on Heidi.

Yōichi Kotabe joined Nintendo later, where it worked out in particular the Pokémon S, took part in the realization of plays like Super Mario World and certain episodes of The Legend off Zelda and of cartoons.
