Xuchang (许昌; Pinyin: Xǔchāng) is a city of the center of the province of the Henan in Popular republic of China.

The population of its jurisdiction is approximately 4,45 million inhabitants.

Administrative divisions

The city-prefecture of Xuchang exerts its jurisdiction on six subdivisions - a district, two city-counties and three counties  :

• the district of Weidu - 魏都区 Wèidū Qū   ;
• the town of Yuzhou - 禹州市 Yǔzhōu Shì   ;
• the town of Changge - 长葛市 Chánggě Shì   ;
• the county of Xuchang - 许昌县 Xǔchāng Xiàn   ;
• the county of Yanling - 鄢陵县 Yānlíng Xiàn   ;
• the county of Xiangcheng - 襄城县 Xiāngchéng Xiàn .
