Xpdf

Xpdf is a reader of pdf available under the license GNU LPG version 2.

The Xpdf project also includes an extractor of text of the pdf, a converter pdf towards Poscript, and some other utilities.

Xpdf functions on X Window System on UNIX, VMS and OS/2.
The components not X (pdftops, pdftotext) also function under Microsoft Windows and should function on the majority of the systems with a compiler correct C++.

Xpdf is conceived to be small and effective. It can use police forces of Type1, TrueType or the standard police forces of X.

Attention: the reader pdf xpdf and his derivatives, whose service of impression CUPS, comprise security breaches to version 3.00 included! (reference CERTA: CERTA-2004-AVI-357)
