XnView
XnView is a Gratuiciel (free for a noncommercial deprived use, education, and the non-profit making companies) of visualization, final improvement and conversion of images. It was developed by Pierre-Emmanuel Gougelet.
It allows the following transformations : Change of size (To copy/Cross/Cut out), creation of labels, creation of board of contact Correction of the red eyes, adjustment of the luminosity, contrast, modification of the number of colors, application of filters and effects.
The others functionalities are: To re-elect by batch, import of approximately 400 graphic formats, export of approximately 50 graphic formats, support of the files multi page tiff, GIF animated, ICO animated IPTC, EXIF Creation of files multi-page (tiff, DCX, LDF), support of sources TWAIN, the impression, Drag & Drop and conversion by batch
One of its characteristics, is to be available on a very great number of Operating system (Windows, Mac OS X, Linux x86, Linux PC, OpenBSD x86, NetBSD x86, FreeBSD x86, Solaris sparc, Solaris x86, Irix mips, HP-UX and AIX) and 41 languages.
In August 2007 there is no equivalent in free software under Microsoft Windows.
