Xiao-Mei

Xiao-Mei is a fictitious character of the serial Desperate Housewives , interpreted by Gwendoline Yeo.

History of the character

Immigrant illegal of China, Xiao-Mei was sold by his/her uncle in Maxine Bennett, a woman who invited Bree Van de Kamp at the time of a lunch. After releasebeing released by the authorities, it is lodged by Solis thanks to the Père Crowley. Proving to be excellent a cooker, Gabrielle then decides to engage it to replace Yao-Flax which was transfered by Gabrielle. When Gabrielle saw Xiao-Mei being interested in a silver bracelet without value for Gabrielle, this one decided to offer to him to reward it for the work which it provided. During a short moment, Solis had Lily, a baby who they were in way to adopt. Gabrielle benefitted from the presence of Xiao-Mei to require of him to deal with the baby. However, after Gabrielle had promised a meeting of spa to him one day and that this one was lunching with Bree, Xiao-Mei went to the spa without the permission of Gabrielle, which pointed out Bree. Then, Gabrielle ran towards the car to join his/her daughter whom it had left only; she discovered whereas she was to have maternal instincts, which she denies more than all.

After the baby was withdrawn to them, Solis chose a surrogate mother which would be Xiao-Mei. This idea terrified the latter who refused, initially, of fear of feeling lost after the loss of its Virginité. However, Xiao-Mei accepted the demand thereafter for being stripped vis-a-vis Carlos Solis when this one sought it to take it along to the hospital. He entrusted to him whereas it was not about the method " traditionnelle" but of the method of surrogate mother. Thus, with the private clinic of fertility, when Carlos was about to give his Sperme, he refused the pornographic reviews, preferring to have as Fantasme the body of Xiao-Mei which he had seen not very front.

One does not know how Carlos began his hybrid relationship with Xiao-Mei. After this one became pregnant, Carlos was affectionate towards it, while being opposed to the crises of Gabrielle, which had suspicions since her husband spent more time with Xiao-Mei than with it. These suspicions were confirmed when, after having installed a monitor baby in their house, it collected, with the defective monitor of Lynette Scavo, the sounds coming from the Solis house, in fact the sounds of sexual relationships between Carlos and Xiao-Mei. Discovering this adultery, Gabrielle drove out Carlos from it but created a surprise by keeping Xiao-Mei at it which was to remain here until the end of the pregnancy.

With the marriage of Bree, Xiao-Mei lost water and was led to the hospital. At this point in time Solis discovered that the baby was of black color, which was impossible since it resulted from the gamètes from Carlos and Gabrielle. The director of the hospital informed them that it was about a medical error, the embryo of another mother having been established. Carlos and Gabrielle rented an apartment for Xiao-Mei with Chinatown so that it begins a new life. However, since, there is no more no news of it.
