Xi Jiang

The river Xi (西江; literally the “ river of the west ”; in Pinyin: Xī Jiāng , in pinyin postal If Kiang , sometimes called “Hsi river”) is a river Chinese. It is the Western affluent (and longest with 1.930 km) of the Yue Jiang, so known like the river of Pearl , which runs in the south of China. The two other principal affluents of Yue Jiang are the Dong Jiang and EIB Jiang.

Many portions of Xi Jiang are navigable.

There exists also a river Xi which is a minor affluent of the Jiulong river in the North-West of the Xiamen.
