Xhigness
Xhignesse is a village of the common Belgian of Hamoir located in Walloon region in the Province of Liege.
They are some farms and some houses grouped around the Église Saint-Pierre de Xhignesse, building remarkable of the Romanesque art, concerning the major Patrimoine of Wallonia.
The hamlet is located at one kilometer in the north of Hamoir. The presence of this church of the end of the 11th century indicates well that the village was formerly the seat of the parish founded at the 8th century and one of the three seigniories of Hamoir.
