Xenogears (ゼノギアス Zenogiasu) is a Video game of role developed by Square Co. left in 1998 on PlayStation. It never left to Europe. Although suffering of many defects (engine of jumps, graphics old-fashioned, etc) it however is looked with the most respect in the community of the fans of RPG, in particular thanks to its scenario, often qualified the exceptional one.
Preamble
Year 4767, Eldridge, a gigantic spaceship in full road in order to convey momentary and goods between two planets, is suddenly taken by storm by a virus concerning the principal computer of the vessel. Many messages are registered then on all the monitors: “You shall Be ace God” and before even as the crew cannot react, something had taken possession of the ship… The system of homing is then set up and the trajectory of Eldridge changes then and re-initialized towards principal planet of the system in which they evolve/move. Not finding any fault with the computer attack, the commander of Eldridge gives the order then to evacuate but it is an only waste of time and effort because the laser guns of the vessel destroy the vessels of help one by one. The commander, in cause of despair, fact call to the last possible recourse: self-destruction of Eldridge. The vessel crashe then on a neighbouring planet, and a mysterious woman rises among the remains of the vessel. She is naked with an abundant mauve hair…
Scenario
All starts into 9999, in the small village of Lahan. The play presents Fei Fong Wong to us, young man 18 year old. Certain Wiseman brought it three years ago, casualty, in the small village of Lahan. Since, it carries out a pleasant life and prepares with the marriage of his two better friends, Alice and Timothy.One evening, whereas he dines at Citan Uzuki, doctor which lives in the neighborhoods of the village, Fei sees a squadron of GEARs moving towards Aveh. When it arrives at the village, this last is devastated by a fire. Several GEARs are fighting; one among, called them Weltrall, does not have any more a pilot. In spite of the warning of Citan, it returns in the cockpit. It attacks the other GEARs then, successfully. At this point in time mysterious Gear appears; this last orders with the remaining units to kill all the villagers. When Fei sees Timothy being made kill under its eyes, another personality awakes by, causing him a metamorphosis of the GEAR which then destroys all the village in a titanic explosion.
When Fei regains consciousness, it realizes that the village was destroyed and killed Timothy and Alice. He is banished by the survivors of the explosion and leaves Weltrall has Citan.
Whereas he saunters in the drill neighbouring, he is suddenly attacked by a woman soldier who calls it a " Lamb". In an access of anger, Fei calls it by its name, Elly, whereas she did not say yet it to him. Fei unconsciously seems to know the young woman…
Fei and Elly are then attacked by Rankar; whereas Elly is wounded, Citan appears with Weltrall and request has Fei to use it to save the young girl, which it does, in spite of its hatred for the GEARs.
The evening, Citan acknowledges has Elly which it knows which it is really and asks him to leave.
Weltrall was damages by Rankar; Fei and Citan go has Dazil, in the desert, to seek new parts. But no mechanic knows these parts; in cause of despair, Fei and Citan go to the excavations in the desert in the hope to find them. , They are stopped by soldiers of Aveh.
Bart, a pirate of sands, attacks the vessel then or Fei and Citan are prisoners. Citan is collected by the boat of Bart; this last, with Fei with the orders of Weltrall, falls into a cave under the desert. In this cave a hermit, named lives Balthazar. This last seems to recognize Weltrall, which it describes like " the host for the spirit of the Killer of Dieu" …
