Xavier Charms
Xavier Charms, born with Aurillac the November 23rd 1849 and died in Paris the April 4th 1919, is a Publiciste French.
He is chief of the office of the secretariat and accountancy to the ministry for the State education, where he has in particular as an employee Guy of Maupassant, and he is general secretary of the Committee of historical and scientific work, founded in 1834 by François Guizot to continue the research and the publication of new materials of the French history. In 1886, it ensures the publication of a bulky collection of work which is worth the following year to him to be elected member of the Academy of Science morals and political.
