Xanto
Xanto is first of all the principal antagonist of the Video game of adventure The Legend off Zelda: Twilight Princess. He is the car-proclaimed Master of the race of the Shades and the world of Darkness. Drawn aside of the title of King of the tribe of the Shade (with the profit of Midona), it sinks during one time of distress, thus giving its body to the " lord of Malin": Ganondorf. This last can thus carry out its return in Hyrule.
Ganondorf proposes in Xanto to give him access an infinite source of capacities in exchange of its release. Xanto then dominates the world of the Shades under the orders of Ganondorf, which he regards as a God, while this one prepares its return in the world of the Light. Xanto carries a mask to grotesque appearance, similar to the head of a chameleon: globulous eyes, retractable language. Behind its mask, Xanto is a rather pathetic character, almost sympathetic nerve, to which it seems difficult to associate a dark image. ''' Image of Xanto '''
As a member of the race of the Shades, Xanto can practice the black magic. It is named " usurpateur" to have not only taken capacity by the force, but also because, during the final confrontation with Link, it copies the techniques of the boss that this last already beat during the play.
Little before the end play, Midona manages to destroy Xanto by using the capacity of its ancestors but, related to Ganondorf, he survives as much as this last saw too. When Ganondorf is finally overcome by Link, a kinematics shows the death of Xanto, the broken neck.
In the english language version of the play, Xanto names Zant.
