The xanthopsia is an eye trouble which gives a uniform yellow color to all the objects. It is observed during some Ictère S and also following an intoxication by the Santonine or of a repeated catch of Absinthe.

One of the most known characters to have suffered from xanthopsia is the painter Vincent van Gogh, who employs much yellow in his tables.
