The best French rail-car of years 1960 at the years 1990.

X 2800 also called U-825 (unified 825 ch) is the result of the design Renault of the rail-car initiated with VH and continued with ABJ and ADP:

single Diesel engine of great power laid out in the case and to one as of its ends,
Transmission with gear box Mékydro (hydraulic in the case of X 2800),
a driver's cab at each end.

Having received one delivered traditional in these first years of existence (red and cream), the modernization started in 1976 will be worth the soft name of " to him; Blue of Auvergne" , taking into account its new colors " blue, gray and blanche" and its provision to be opened out as well as possible on lines of mountains, in the center of France.

It should be noted that a few units of the series were equipped in " 1° classe" AUNIS and accepted superb delivered a " green and beige": X 2808, X 2814, X 2816, X 2897, X 2898, X 2899 and X 2900.
