X 2800

The best French rail-car of years 1960 at the years 1990.X 2800 also called U-825 (unified 825 ch) is the result of the design Renault of the rail-car initiated with VH and continued with ABJ and ADP:
- single Diesel engine of great power laid out in the case and to one as of its ends,
- Transmission with gear box Mékydro (hydraulic in the case of X 2800),
- a driver's cab at each end.
Having received one delivered traditional in these first years of existence (red and cream), the modernization started in 1976 will be worth the soft name of " to him; Blue of Auvergne" , taking into account its new colors " blue, gray and blanche" and its provision to be opened out as well as possible on lines of mountains, in the center of France.
It should be noted that a few units of the series were equipped in " 1° classe" AUNIS and accepted superb delivered a " green and beige": X 2808, X 2814, X 2816, X 2897, X 2898, X 2899 and X 2900. Others did not carry not delivered Aunis but were equipped with also 1°classe: X 2860, X 2901, X 2902, X 2913 and X 2915.
During modernization, certain units accepted V140 approval (authorized to roll to the maximum to 140 km/h) whereas the majority of the series was " V120".
With the beginning of the year 2000, was founded the association of impassioned of X2800 in order to preserve this material.

- X 2804: envisaged for the Quoted of the train of Mulhouse, currently stored in Ecomusée de Breuil on Roya (06)
- X 2882: sold with the Railroads and automobile transport (CFTA) for the FOR THE THIRD TIME Brittany (Machine H.S. from now on)
