The Middle East

  • In Anatolia Western and southernmost, Troy II, Beycesultan, Tarsus and all the cities of the plain of Konya are burnt. Vast zones turn over to the nomadism. This invasion come from Balkans (the Thrace also is devastated) would be the work of the Louwites, Indo-European people related with the Hittites.

    • It Anatolia then reached a certain level of richness to be judged some according to the furniture of the tombs and the treasures found with Troy or Dorak near the sea of Marmara (towards -2300) and also with Alaca Hüyük (towards -2200): copper, silver, gold containers and bronze, weapons of pageantry out of gold and iron, “standard” surprising and statuette of bulls and stags.
  • In Anatolia central, new culture appears (ceramic painted geometrical drawings brown black or red, then two-tone on clear bottom and alabaster idols in the shape of flat discs from where spout out stylized triangular heads), with for metropolis Kültepe, close to Kayseri (culture cappadocian).

  • Turbid in Syria - Palestine (- 2200-2000). All the Palestinian cities are burned, probably by the Amorrites and populations come from Anatolia southernmost expelled by the Louwites. They destroy the temple of Ishtar to Assur and the palate of Naram-Sin in Such Brack, devastates the low valley of the Diyala. They undoubtedly occupy Akkad, and one their kings, Erridu-Pizir, defends the city against the Lullubi and the Hourrites of the Kurdistan. They are satisfied with a nominal suzerainty on Sumer. The dynastic lists allot to them 21 kings for 125 years of a domination characterized by a total anarchy. In fact one knows nothing over this period: the contemporary epigraphic lists are completely lacking, and no archaeological level could be defined like the representative.
