XXIIIe Egyptian dynasty
This dynasty reigns in parallel with, and S. It extends from -818 with -715.

In -818, Léontopolis in the delta or Taremou (ground of fish) becomes a kingdom independent of the sovereigns of Tanis, but the assumption that all the dynasty was Léonpolite is always discussed. In -747 three new kingdoms are formed: Hérakléopolis, Hermopolis and Lycopolis (Assiout).
