XL the Magazine
XL the Magazine is a Magazine Mensuel French intended for the teenagers (primarily male). Created in November 1995, XL the Magazine, held by the Amaury Group, ceased being published in November 2000 after 73 numbers. The mark was repurchased by Jerome Sicard in 2004 in order to create XL Foot .
XL proposed a whole range of headings: people, sport, music, cinema, television, tests… The whole was decorated photographs (in particular sexy young women) and data base (of which the mascot of the magazine, Ixel, and strips of Focu by Diego Aranega).
Anecdote
Before being known, Églantine Éméyé made some appearances in XL as a mannequin.
