X-ray (play)

Focus is a Board game created by Sid Sackson and published for the first time in 1963 by 3M.

The play was republished several times, under the same name or that of Domination oo of Dominio . X-ray in 1981 by the Spiel was rewarded for Jahres. The play is described by Sid Sackson in its book has Gamut off Ranges .

A part opposes from 2 to 4 players for one 30 minutes approximate duration.

Principle of the play

The players move piles of one to five parts on an apron of play.

A pile can move of as many boxes as it comprises parts. The players can move a pile only if the part at the top belongs to them. When a pile finishes its race on another pile, the two piles amalgamate; if the new pile comprises more than five parts, one withdraws the parts since the bottom of the pile until reducing it to a height of five. The player recovers among these withdrawn parts them his clean which it will be able to replace later on on the play. On the other hand, the parts belonging to the adversaries are definitively captured.

End of part

The last player who can still move a pile gains the part.
