X-ray (data processing)
In Data-processing, one says that a fenestrated control has the x-ray when the user selected this control or that the next seizure keyboard will influence on the behavior of this fenestrated control.
Some examples:
- a zone of text ( textbox , edict ) has the x-ray when the user can obtain information there. The x-ray one is announced there by a cursor ( reel ) flickering.
- a button has the x-ray when the user can simulate a click above when it presses on the Entrée key. The x-ray one is announced there by small squares making the turn of the button.
- a zone of list ( listbox ) has the x-ray when an element is selected there.
