X-country
The X-country , or more commonly called cross-country race, (or also XC for X-Country, X having the shape of a cross, or cross-country race in English) is the practice of VTT on all the grounds.
It is indeed the discipline of the VTT which is most widespread and the only present one at the Olympic Games.
The x-country is generally practiced with a semi-rigid VTT, i.e. a VTT with suspension with front, contrary with the whole supendu, on which the suspensions are with before and with the back (used mainly in DH, like Downhill, or descent).
The x-country is practiced throughout the year, by any time.
