MACIF ( Mutual Insurance of the Tradesmen and Industrialists of France and the executives and paid Industry and Trade ) is a French mutual insurance.
April 30th, 1960 east creates a new “insurance company to mutual form” the MACIF. It is the 1st automobile insurer and dwelling in France with more than 5 million vehicles and 3 million assured residences. The current president of group MACIF is Gerard Andreck, who succeeds Jean Simonnet.

The seat of MACIF is located at Niort.
The MACIF and MAIF set up a at the end of 2005 partnership with the Groupe Savings bank in the field of the Bancassurance.
Regional structures
The group géogrphiquement is géogrphiquement divided into 11 areas which have a certain autonomy. These areas are: Dormouse-Brittany (seat with Laval), Atlantic Mid-west (seat with Niort), South-West-Pyrenes (seat with Agen), Provence-Méditéranée (seat with Carqueiranne in the VAr), the Rhone-Alps (seat with Andrézieux-Bouthéon in the Loire), Center, Center Europe, Gatinais-Champagne, Ile de France, Valley of Seine-Picardy, North-Not of Calais.
