Wudinna
Wudinna (approximately: 600 inhabitants) is a city (" town") of South Australia in the center of the north of the Peninsula of Eyre on the " Eyre Highway" with 569 kilometers of Adelaide. It belongs to the " Council district off Hunte" of which the " chairman" is Timothy Richard Scholz.
The name of the city would be of origin aboriginal and would mean " the hill of granit".
Indeed the area is known for its immense granite reserves which started to be exploited in the years 1990 to be sold in Australia and even in Asia and Europe.
The " Wudinna" mount; , (261 meters), with 12 kilometers in the North-East of the city, is the larger second Australian Monolithe after the monolith of the Mont Augustus
