Wu Guanzheng (吳官正; Pinyin: Wú Guānzhèng) (born in August 1938) was named member of the Central committee of the Chinese Communist party and chief of the central commission of Control of the Discipline of the Chinese Communist party at the conclusion of the 16th Congress of the Chinese Communist party becoming thus seventh in the hierarchy of the Political office of the PCC (Politburo). It is known to have good relationships with former President Jiang Zemin.

Wu was born with Yugan, province of the Jiangxi, and joined the Chinese Communist party with old 21 years. It obtained a control in thermo-technical measurement and automatic control with the Université Qinghua in 1968,

Wu was the mayor of Wuhan of 1983 to 1986. He became governor of the province of the Jiangxi in 1986. He went in the province of the Shandong in 1997 to become the chief of the party in the province and was elected member of the Politburo the same year.

On Sunday, October 21, 2007, Wu did not appear among the few 200 members of the new Central committee at the conclusion of the 17th Congress of the Chinese Communist party. This exclusion reinforces the capacity of Hu Jintao, Wu being faithful of Jiang Zemin.
