Wpkg

WPKG is a Logiciel of deployment, update and suppression automated of parcellings for Windows.

It can be used to push/draw from software parcellings such as Packs Services, hotfixs, or programs of installation since a central waiter (for example Samba or Active Directory).

It can be launched as a service, in order to install software in background task, without interaction with the user. Configured like such, it can function even if the user who opens the session does not profit from privileges administrator.
WPKG can install parcellings MSI, Installshield, Packagesfortheweb, etc, like all the other refabriqués programs or batchs.

Outline of WPKG

WPKG can add a great value to your samba or your installation of Active Directory. It makes it possible to carry out installations, updates and suppressions on your work stations.

It is also possible to carry out the scripts personalized on your work stations, like the synchronization of time, the parameters of impression, the changes of permissions or the additions of entries in the register base (of the things which you would make with Active Directory and Group Policy/GPO).

Inner working

wpkg.js is the most important file of WPKG. It can be seen like the engine interns this one. It must be carried out with cscript.exe (an online version of ordering of Windows Scripting Host) or with wscript.exe (the system of script for Windows) as presented below:
