Wozzeck

Wozzeck is a opera in three acts written and composed by Alban Berg, according to the part Woyzeck of Georg Büchner. It was created the December 14th 1925 with the Staatsoper of Berlin. He tells the history of Franz Wozzeck, a former soldier having had a son of Marie, a former prostitute. He is used as guinea-pig for the experiments of a doctor and is victim of hallucinations which move away it from Marie. Wozzeck discovers then that the latter is inaccurate; follows a dramatic outcome.
