The worship of a Religion is one of the exoteric demonstrations of this one, though certain demonstrations of this one can be held for the initiated and, so to raise of the esotericism. The worship belongs to the obligations whose negligence is described as Impiété. In the nondogmatic religions, the practice of the law revêt this character exoteric.

The Pilgrimage S, the Alms, the religious Tax (begun again or not by the State), the Jeûne are also aspects of the worship though they cannot be included as a whole liturgical; they are field of the religious law.

Like the opposition between religions of Authority and religion of the Law, the opposition between religions Iconophore S (including the worship and the veneration of images) and religions iconoclasts are a criterion structuring of the religious Sciences (of which the Anthropologie of the religion and the Sociologie of the religion).

Statistical of religious practice

The religious practice in North America is proportionally stronger than in Europe. One estimates that the proportion of the population which took part in religious services in 1996 with approximately 24% with the the United States and 20% with the Canada, according to the Canadian statistics.

In France, the share of the people of more than 14 years which declare a religious practice was of 16% in 1996, against 13% in 1987. The increase in the practice is perceptible only at the most 60 years, the practice being stable in the other age groups.
