Empire Earth is a Strategy game in real-time published by Sierra Entertainment, left in 2001 on PC.
The player controls a civilization, and it goal is, in the majority of the cases, to destroy its enemies.
The warlike units are of nature stone-paper-scissors, i.e. one with the possibility of beating an army twice larger than his by choosing its units well.
The play proposes four modes: campaigns, the tutoriaux ones, scenarios and charts random.
The play, all in 3D, have an graphical interface and visual rather simple and effective, and have many light effects (explosions, reflections of water, etc). A zoom is possible during the play, making the sight practically subjective. Rotation is however impossible, except for the canned movements of camera in the scenarios and the campaigns.
Empire Earth recovers fourteen eras on the whole. The version Empire Earth expansion brings a new era: the Space era.
Prehistory (I): Prehistory is the first era of the play. The military units available are one cannot less rudimentary: stone club and launcher.
