The Worse Dominique Father (Georges Charles Worse Clement Ghislain) (Dining (more exactly Leffe) the February 10th 1910 - Leuwen the January 30th 1969) Dominicain is a Belgian monk.

Its work in favor of the refugees after the Second world war was worth the to him Nobel Prize of peace in 1958.

Worse in 1932 became Dominican monk, when he pronounced his wishes and is made call “Dominique Pire”. After studies of theology and political sciences, it turned over to the Couvent of Sarte to Huy, Belgium where it began its social engagement with the underprivileged families of the area. After having received the Nobel Prize of peace in 1958, its engagement in favor of peace continued with the creation of the university of peace of which the goal was to train the future leaders of the world to a greater comprehension mutual insurance companies. Convinced later that there could not be peace without éradiquer poverty, he founded Îles of peace, an ONG devoted in support of the rural populations in the countries in the process of development.
